C programs QnA

Q. If sum of two integer is 14 and if one of them is 8 then find other integer. Ans: Well, this is very simple. Simply, one integer is 8 and sum of two integers is 14. So, we need to subtract the number 8 from their sum of 14 to get the second number. So, the second number is: 14 - 8 = 6 C-Program of this task Code---> #include<stdio.h> int main () { int num1 = 8 , num2 , sum = 14 ; num2 = sum - num1 ; printf ( "The second number is: %d" , num2 ); return 0 ; }

C-program of checking a alphabet is vowel or consonant

In this C -program we will check that, if an alphabet is vowel or consonant. The alphabet will be taken from the user. input: The alphabet(i.e : A,b,p etc.) output: The alphabet is vowel or consonant CODE----> #include<stdio.h> int main () { char ch ; printf ( "Enter an alphabet: " ); scanf ( "%c" ,& ch ); if ( ch == 'A' || ch == 'a' || ch == 'E' || ch == 'e' || ch == 'i' || ch == 'I' || ch == 'o' || ch == 'O' || ch == 'u' || ch == 'U' ) { printf ( "%c is a vowel" , ch ); } else { printf ( "%c is consonant" , ch ); } return 0 ; } Download the C-Program file of this Program. Don't just read, run on your pc !!! RESULT : Enter an alphabet: b b is consonant -------------------------------- Process exited after 8.86 seconds with return value 0 Press any key to continue . . . Enter an alphabet

Checking a number, odd or even in C language

In this C -program we will check that, if a integer(decimal number) is odd or even. The number will be taken from the user. input: The number(i.e : 5,6,3 etc.) output: The number is odd or even CODE----> #include<stdio.h> int main () { int n ; printf ( "Enter a number: " ); scanf ( "%d" ,& n ); if ( n % 2 == 0 ) { printf ( "%d is even" , n ); } else { printf ( "%d is odd" , n ); } return 0 ; } Download the C-Program file of this Program. Don't just read, run on your pc !!! RESULT : Enter a number: 121 121 is odd -------------------------------- Process exited after 3.899 seconds with return value 0 Press any key to continue . . . Enter a number: 100 100 is even -------------------------------- Process exited after 2.879 seconds with return value 0 Press any key to continue . . . Images for better understanding :

Swap two variables without using third variable

In this C -program we will take two integers(decimal number) as input from user and print the swapped values of the integers. input: Two numbers(i.e : 5,6,3 etc.) output: Swapped values of the two integers CODE----> #include<stdio.h> int main () { int a , b ; printf ( "Enter 1st number: " ); scanf ( "%d" ,& a ); printf ( "Enter 2nd number: " ); scanf ( "%d" ,& b ); a = a + b ; /* we can also use: a=a*b */ b = a - b ; /* we can also use: b=a/b */ a = a - b ; /* we can also use: a=a/b */ printf ( "After swapping the 1st number is = %d\n" , a ); printf ( "After swapping the 2nd number is = %d" , b ); return 0 ; } Download the C-Program file of this Program. Don't just read, run on your pc !!! RESULT : Enter 1st number: 45 Enter 2nd number: 78 After swapping the 1st number is = 78 After swapping the 2nd number is = 45 ------------------------------

Swap two variables with the help of a third variable

In this C -program we will take two integers(decimal number) as input from user and print the swapped values of the integers. input: Two numbers(i.e : 5,6,3 etc.) output: Swapped values of the two integers CODE----> #include<stdio.h> int main () { int a , b , s ; printf ( "Enter 1st number: " ); scanf ( "%d" ,& a ); printf ( "Enter 2nd number: " ); scanf ( "%d" ,& b ); s = a ; a = b ; b = s ; printf ( "After swapping the 1st number is = %d\n" , a ); printf ( "After swapping the 2nd number is = %d" , b ); return 0 ; } Download the C-Program file of this Program. Don't just read, run on your pc !!! RESULT : Enter 1st number: 45 Enter 2nd number: 78 After swapping the 1st number is = 78 After swapping the 2nd number is = 45 -------------------------------- Process exited after 4.06 seconds with return value 0 Press any key to continue . . .
